A Global Icon Now in India

The Honda Rebel 500 Cruiser has already built a loyal fan base across global markets, and its arrival in India has been highly anticipated by motorcycle enthusiasts. With its blend of classic cruiser design and modern features, the Rebel 500 is designed to attract riders who crave both performance and personality. HMSI is positioning the bike as a lifestyle product that stands out with its bold styling and confident road presence.

The Rebel 500’s design is unmistakably cruiser-centric, featuring a low-slung stance, a steeply raked fuel tank, a round LED headlamp, and blacked-out mechanical components. It gets a minimalistic yet aggressive look, finished in a premium Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic shade. The seat height is set at a comfortable 690mm, making it accessible to a wide range of riders, especially those new to the cruiser segment.

The bike will be available in a single Standard variant, with a focus on giving riders a clean, uncluttered aesthetic that exudes both heritage and street character.

Engine and Performance: Smooth and Torquey

At the heart of the Honda Rebel 500 Cruiser is a powerful 471cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. This engine delivers a solid 34 kW at 8,500 RPM and a peak torque of 43.3 Nm at 6,000 RPM. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox, the motor is tuned for strong low-end performance, ensuring a relaxed cruising experience on highways while still being punchy enough for city rides.

The short, stubby exhaust emits a deep, throaty sound, adding to the classic cruiser vibe. Whether you’re cruising through the city or taking on long road trips, the Rebel 500 promises a smooth, engaging ride every time.

Chassis and Features: Engineered for Comfort and Control

Built on a robust tubular steel frame, the Rebel 500 is engineered to offer stability and comfort on all kinds of terrain. The bike is equipped with telescopic front forks and twin Showa rear shock absorbers, providing balanced suspension for a laid-back riding experience.

Braking duties are handled by a 296mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc, with dual-channel ABS offered as standard. The Rebel 500 rides on 16-inch wheels wrapped in Dunlop tyres, offering excellent road grip and stability.

An inverted LCD display offers all necessary rider information clearly, maintaining the bike’s modern appeal without compromising its retro styling.
